One of the main characteristics of Calpe is the mixture of urban environment and natural wealth. The Peñón de Ifach , one of its hallmarks, is an authentic and valued natural reserve of flora and fauna located in the center of the city! And also a beautiful place with paths and roads suitable for all audiences.
It is also, together with the yacht club and the marina, the epicenter of nautical activities and sports, especially during the summer: climbing, hiking, diving, sailing, jet skis and paragliding among many others. The more than 5 km of beaches and coves on the Calpe coast, have options for all tastes: fine sandy beaches, hidden and paradisiacal coves, rocky beach. Among them the most popular are the Fossa beach and the Arenal beach (where we are!). The two urban beaches are separated by the impressive Peñón de Ifach.
